Standard settings to ensure the M9 C 160 silicon injection machine works properly
- Window height :
2490 mm maximum. (Fig 1, item A)
- Joinery thickness :
total thickness 160 mm maximum. (Fig 1, item B)
- Water spray thickness :
not to exceed 20 mm. (Fig 1, item C)
- Fixed sash size :
minimum width 70 mm. (Fig 1, item D)
- Distance between the double glazing :
maximum 20 mm. (Fig 1, item E)
- Lap joint :
The overlap must not exceed 20 mm. (Fig 1, item F)

Silicon joint angles :
If you want to ensure proper water flow, the angle of silicon must be equal to, or slightly greater
than, the lap joint angle. (Fig 2, item G / Fig 3, poste L)
- Lap joint and glazing bars :
The optimum angle is between 15° et 20°. (Fig 2, item I)
- Glazing bars :
The silicon joint reveal and angle must be equal to those of the lap joint. (Fig 2, item H)

Silicon gutter cross-section :
It must be the same for the entire perimeter of the joinery. The optimum
cross-section is 4x4 mm. (Fig 3, item M)
- Maximum weight :
The window or French window must not exceed 150 kg. (Fig 1, item B)
- The silicon injection machine cannot operate on arched joinery.
- Side support wheels' position on the window :
10 mm mini / 100 mm maxi in the event of a rebate on the support edge. (Fig 4, item N-O)
- It is impossible to apply silicon if the joinery's window catches are on the outer perimeter.
- The minimum size of glass pane to be sealed is : 180 x 180 mm.
